LASEK Surgery
 Laser refractive surgery is performed by Consulting Ophthalmologists, P.C.’s surgeons at The Precision Laser Vision Center. Our patients are seen pre-operatively and post-operatively by the operating surgeon. All patients go through a thorough and comprehensive evaluation to determine whether or not they are reasonable candidates for laser refractive surgery.
We utilize state of the art equipment including the Allegretto Excimer Laser. The high speed scanning mechanism allows the laser to deliver 200 pulses per second to achieve an even distribution of pulses over the cornea.
 The laser uses overlapping Gauesian pulses to reshape the cornea and can treat nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
