Dr. Reddy completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville where she received a bachelor’s degree in Biology with Honors. As part of an accelerated combined 7 year B.A./M.D. program, she went on to attend the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine. After her ophthalmology residency at University of Louisville, she went on to complete a medical retina fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Reddy has received a number of accolades and awards throughout her training, including being named a Grawmeyer research scholar during her undergraduate studies and being awarded the prestigious JD Riehm and Meyer Scholarships in medical school. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society by her peers and most recently received the Dedication to Service Award during her fellowship at Mass Eye & Ear for her continued interest in global health.
She has been actively involved in research of retinal diseases, including macular degeneration, and vascular disorders for which she has been published in multiple journals. Her work has been presented at various ophthalmology meetings including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Reddy specializes in the treatment of retina diseases including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retinal vascular disorders.
